TOURNEY RECAP | 18 Beta 1.09

18’s Beta had a great first power league tournament. They went into the qualifier down three strong leaders on the team, but that didn’t stop them from having a successful day. Despite different lineups and positions, the girls pulled together to successfully run a newly practice 5-1 with brand new middles. They started pool play 2 and 0 and were improving with each serve. They fell short to Mt. Hood the last game in pool but played a tough match to end the morning holding their seed as second in their pool. Going into the cross over the girls were motivated and excited to play the competitive team of Bridgetown who they had seen before, but were yet to play. The match went back and fourth as the girls fought their way to a third game. Despite their efforts and amazing play Bridgetown took the game in three. I know the girls are eager to see them again! They came back with a bang in the last cross over match defeating Pacific Force in another exciting three game match. The day was full of improvement for each individual and the team as a whole. An excitement has sparked for 18’s Beta as they see a great season ahead of them!
