16 Beta showed their fighting spirit all day long. We started off the morning a little slow against Southside but then picked up the energy as the day progressed. In our third match of the day we played against Rimrock. We lost the first game but then the girls pulled together as a team and improved our serving and passing to sweep the second game. The third game of the match was a nail bitter. In the end of the third match we pulled out a win by forcing Rimrock to make the errors.
In the Crossover Challenge we played against Boss and Mid Valley. In these matches we had some of our players start in new positions. They all stepped up to the challenge and played hard. Our team supported one another and never gave up even though they were all exhausted. In the end we lost both matches. But many spectators including other coaches complimented the girls on their efforts and the way they’ve continued to improve throughout the day. 16 Beta is currently seeded at 63 but we’re excited to step up to the plate and improve our seeding in the next Power League.
