Brooke Mayo

Brooke Mayo has coached high school volleyball since 1999.  Brooke is currently the head volleyball coach and science teacher at Mountainside High School.  Previously, she taught and coached at ACS Egham International School in England from 2015-2017.  In 2015, Brooke led her team to their first finals appearance of the ISSA tournament.  Brooke was a teacher and head volleyball coach at Southridge High School for 11 years.  In 2014, she led the Skyhawks to their first state tournament berth, in school history, where they finished 7th in state and earned the Sportsmanship Award.  Additionally, Brooke was voted Metro League Coach of the Year in 2006, 2007, 2012.  Brooke also coached at Aloha High School and Milwaukie High School, where she received 2001 Three-Rivers League Coach of the Year honors.  


Brooke’s coached club volleyball since 1997 in Oregon and Tennessee for Portland Volleyball Club 18 Gold (2 years), Club Ridge Volleyball 14 Gold & Club Director (3 years), Athena Volleyball Academy 14 Gold/Alpha (6 years), Canby Volleyball Club 16-2 (1 year), and Forest Grove VBC 18s (1 year).  Brooke started playing volleyball in high school at Central Catholic High School and Rose City Volleyball Club.  She received athletic and academic scholarships to Pacific University where she played four years as middle blocker and outside hitter. She received All-Conference honors all four years.
