Jennifer Wineholt

While this is Jennifer's first season with ATHENAVB, she has been invested in the sport since elementary school. Born in Southern California, she played for WAVE Volleyball Club (11U-15U) and Coast Volleyball Club (16U-18U) while attending the Francis Parker School. Following her high-school career, Jennifer went on to be a four year starter at the University of Virginia as a setter and right side, where she was named a captain in her fourth year. As she has transitioned from athlete to coach, Jennifer's coaching philosophy revolves around the importance of developing the 'whole athlete'. From building technical skills to empowering young leaders to excel both on and off the court, Jennifer has a passion for growing both the game and our athletes.

Outside of volleyball, Jennifer loves spending time in California with her family, finding new walking trails with her english bulldog, Bandit, and teaching mental-health awareness and advocacy in her spare time.
