My name is Katie Shimaura from Mililani, Hawaii and a graduate of Mililani High School. I am finishing up my senior year at Lewis & Clark College where I played 4 years of collegiate volleyball as a DS/L. I love the game of volleyball and although my career has come to an end, I am too passionate about the game to step away thus I am so excited to still be involved with volleyball but in a different role. I hope to have a lasting impact on the people that I coach and they find that they game as much as I do. Besides volleyball I love to crochet, explore, and spend time with friends. I am super excited to start my journey as a coach!
