Megan Bunn

Hi All! My name is Megan Bunn and I am thrilled to be apart of ATHENAVB this year as the 16U Black assistant coach. I grew up in Banks, OR and just recently moved back from Eastern OR this summer. I've been playing volleyball since the 2nd Grade (school and club vb) and still have a huge passion for playing and coaching the amazing game. After graduating from Banks, I decided to pursue my love for the sport at the collegiate level and attended Eastern Oregon University. I came out of EOU with a few honors that included-- All-Conference First Team, All-American Second-Team, and NAIA recognition as apart of the All-Tournament team. I loved being apart of a team, and a family as an athlete, and recently even more as a coach. I was a graduate-assistant at EOU in 2020-21, and had some club coaching experience with 12U, 16U, and 18U in Eastern Oregon prior. After receiving my Masters degree in Elementary education, I pursued a teaching job and head coaching position in Hermiston, OR for two years. Now I am back to be closer to family and continue doing what I love with ATHENAVB Club as new coach. I love to hang out with my family and friends, visiting new places, and making connections with people. I can't wait to meet our team and see what great things we can do this season.
